AZ Blankets 4 Kids is partnering with Arizona Quilters Guild for a service project during 2019 Quilt Arizona! The theme for their quilt show this year is Jewels of the Desert.
From Thursday, March 21st, through Saturday, March 23rd, you can enjoy

and more! Thursday evening admission is $5. Daily admission is $15 for the general public, or $5 for AQG members. All the excitement will take place at Mesa Convention Center, 201 North Center Street, Mesa, AZ 85201.

If you would like to participate in the Build-A-Quilt project, you can start now, and bring your donations to the show. Your participation could earn you a winning ticket for a sewing machine, generously donated by Mulqueens. When you attend the show, look for the Build-A-Quilt area near Mulqueens corner. There will be kits, sewing machines, and even a long-arm machine set up for visitors to volunteer. Take a break from browsing to sit and sew for a good cause. This pattern was designed for teen sized comfort quilts for boys. The blocks go together quickly and easily. See below for a sample photo of a finished quilt, and an image of the pattern.
