Can we get a note added to each of the fabrics that tells how much is needed of each (i.e. 1/2 yard, fat quarter, etc.) If this is possible I’d be willing to calculate it out if it isn’t already known. This would make it a little easier for someone looking at the pattern for the first time.
There may be color photos included in our website/Facebook posts from the last couple of years. The ladies at the Eastmark sewing group hold a quilt show each year in November I believe. One of their members designed this pattern. I am sorry I can’t be more specific than that.
On the dinosaur quilt, has anyone made into a twin size? I made this in a baby size. But got a request for a bigger one. Just not sure how big to make the squares.
Unfortunately we do not know of anyone who has made the quilt into a twin size. I would imagine you would need to know the finished measurements of the smaller quilt….then increase the size of the squares/blocks by a couple inches, and see what that would look like (for size). For the width or length, you would want to add up the squares (inches) then subtract out all the 1/4 inch seams. that would give you the finished size. I hope this helps.
These are SOOOO CUTE!
Thank you Sandy! These patterns are excellent when you have fabric that is not a “kid print” but will make a kid-friendly quilt

Excellent idea! Thank you. We will contact the pattern author.
Thanks so much, this dinosaur quilt block is so cute!
We’re happy to share the cuteness, Alex! If you make a Dinosaur Quilt, we’d love to see a photo of it. Happy stitching!
These are so cute!
Yes! And they are meant to use non-kid friendly fabrics cut into squares, to make a kid-friendly quilt!
I think I am going to make this for a 4 year old. He loves Dinosaurs.
What size of squares are use?
The squares are 5.5″ and you can click on the pdf link to the pattern above for more details regarding size and construction. Happy quilting!
Do you have a color picture of the Dinosaur quilt?
Thank you!
