Girl Scout Earns Silver Award by Donating Quilts to Comfort Children in Need

Girl Scout Amelia Foust earned her Silver Award by creating and donating 10 handmade quilts to AZ Blankets 4 Kids. Combining her love of sewing with her desire to help others, Amelia designed each quilt to bring comfort to children facing serious illness or trauma.

She also made a wonderful video explaining AZ Blankets 4 Kids’ mission and what you can do to help us.

The Silver Award, one of the highest honors for Girl Scout Cadettes, recognizes leadership, community service, and sustainable impact. Amelia’s thoughtful work will continue to warm young hearts for years to come.

Thank you, Amelia, for making a difference one stitch at a time!
