What a treat it was for both my husband and me to drive up to Scottsdale recently to visit Betty Isbell, a nearly 97 year old VSL (Very Special Lady), who continues to make beautiful quilts for the children we service through AZ Blankets 4 Kids! I had the pleasure of having a tour of Betty’s sewing area where she spends much of her time making quilts not only for AZ Blankets 4 Kids, but also several other charities. Betty began quilting at the tender age of 80 and has donated blankets for the children for several years. You can see from the photos that Betty is still an exceptional quilter and we know the children who receive her quilts will love them. Thank you Betty, you are a treasure!
