Towerpoint Bee – 2025

March 13, 2025 – windy – 🌥️ 73°

The weather was a little blustery, but we were happy inside, quilting with our friends at Towerpoint in Mesa, off Main St. (between Greenfield and Higley). There were 52 guests buzzing at this Bee, and we were all busy workers. See the proof in photos below, and special thanks to Allie and Barb for leading our stretch breaks.

Our hosts provided go-go juice (coffee) and donuts in the morning, followed by a delicious potluck lunch in their Kachina Room. When our bellies were full, it was time for prizes! Debbie Smith, from Towerpoint, was the door prize winner of a $25 gift card to Mulqueen’s and a lovely miniature quilt made by Linda Miloni. The 50/50 went to Annette Hammond, also from Towerpoint, who pocketed $120! The other half went to Helen Clark for our kind host quilters from Towerpoint. We also want to express our gratitude for the quilter(s) working in the quilting room during our Bee. We were wonderfully spoiled to have a volunteer operating their long-arm and quilting for us throughout the day. We had lots of happy shoppers who found treasures in the fat quarters and yarn for sale.

Bee by the numbers:
50 quilts brought in at the door.
40 finished at the Bee.
That’s a total of 90 blankets ready to be delivered to our kids!

Thank you all for making this such a wonderful day!
